A Common Sense Weight Loss Program That Works

When it comes to losing weight, our society goes back and forth on what works and what doesn’t. Should I work out more? Should I avoid carbohydrates? I wish there was a pill that did all the work for me. Should I continue to drink coffee? These are just a few of the thoughts we all have on the subject of weight loss. I have had the same thoughts especially when I was running in college and the coach was seemingly always getting onto us about our weight. How wrong he was!

What is your plan? You have a few extra pounds, so what? You are not morbidly obese, you are not diabetic, you have a few pains here and there but that is all part of life, right? Wrong. Whether you need to lose a few extra belly pounds or a lot, the simple facts are – you are increasing inflammation in your body with each extra ounce of body fat. This increased inflammation causes pain, fatigue and is the leading cause in type II Diabetes and auto-immune disease. We all need fat, good fats such as omega 3 found in tuna, salmon and flax, but our DIET’s consist mainly of omega-6 processed foods that are pro-inflammatory and must be stored of yellow fat.

Adding to this is sugar, pasta, pastries, soda, and medications that promote more inflammation and is our typical big business, weight-loss solution with the latest advertisement from some celebrity who, when the price was right, became their spokesperson. Whether you knew it or not, even simple over-the-counter pain medications such as aspirin, Tylenol and ibuprofen push the omega 6 pathway as an end result, which are in turn inflammatory and weight loss preventing.

We have seen this so much in our practice that we began working on a solution to take a stand against this. So many times I see patients take a supplement, go on an exercise binge, attempt “X” diet and be successful only to gain back the weight and then some. Sound familiar? Does that mean the diet doesn’t work? Not necessarily. It does mean one of two things: 1) the person went back to their original way of life and didn’t modify in a healthy way or 2) the set-point for metabolism was not met and the body assimilated the new foods, healthy or not, into fat.

What can you do to combat it? It’s just science, or the study of physiology to be more specific. We have the research and plan to help you lose weight in a myriad of ways depending on how athletic or not you are. And as a physician, it is my duty to promote quality exercise as your lifestyle modification. But, what if you can’t move properly? What if you have a medical condition that restricts your movement? What if you can’t run 5 miles a day? Or you cannot afford a personal trainer that comes with your personal chef. We understand.

Our system does not use all protein or thousands of dollars in supplementation. It uses non-inflammatory restricted foods with a supplement to shape your body and burn the pro-inflammatory yellow fat to reduce your fat stores and create a healthier individual without hunger. It is as simple as that.

As we age, have bouts of stress either from work (personal or physical), our metabolism changes and we slow down. Counter that with a deficiency in nutrients that has occurred over the past 100 years and we are limited on what we can accomplish.

Doctor’s Optimum has created a Weight Loss Support formula combined with diet and an exercise program, that in as little as five minutes a day, can make a significant difference and impact on your life. It is called Doctor’s Optimum Weight Loss Support Program.

Most people who are struggling with weight loss, stress, and appetite control could benefit from regulating biochemical reactions versus relying on willpower. Most cravings and coping mechanisms are attributed to a group of endocrine hormones that optimize our need for sugar, salt, and fat.

According to current research, a healthy functioning body depends on having a higher percentage of lean body mass (consisting of muscle, bone, and water), not lower fat content. You can achieve increased lean body mass through physical activity, which can help avoid such issues as fatty abdominal tissue, which is a significant risk factor for cardiovascular disease. An increase in lean body mass may have a positive impact on long-term cardiovascular risk and life span.

To Control Appetite you MUST Manage Leptin

To reach your weight loss goal, it is critical to regulate leptin. Leptin is a hormone that is produced by fat cells. Its job is to tell your body whether it should burn away excess fat. When leptin levels are properly signaled, an alert is sent to your brain and other body tissues that you have eaten enough and the rest is to be stored as fat. Leptin not only controls hunger, it also is vital to how a person ages. If your leptin levels are high, it can be detrimental to your health. Low levels of leptin means it is able to do its job and your body won’t sabotage your weight loss efforts by constantly making you hungry. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you must first maintain lower leptin levels so the brain and body tissues can relearn how to react to leptin. Therefore, a product that affects leptin through all the biochemical pathways is needed.

Carnitine for Increased Energy and Fat-Loss

When it comes to making energy, burning it efficiently and having more of it, we really want to be fat burning individuals and not rely much on carbohydrates. Without carnitine, fats cannot be burned for energy; without energy, cells become weak and can die. Optimizing carnitine levels has been found to have dramatic benefits for low energy, obesity, and fatigue. Controlled trials have demonstrated that carnitine helps to support healthy weight loss by promoting optimal fat burning by the mitochondria. Carnitine also helps promote heart health, maintenance of healthy cholesterol levels, and in sports enhanced endurance and recovery.

L-Carnitine is a naturally occurring compound in all foods, but significant amounts are only found in dark meats (due to high concentrations of mitochondria). Acetyl L-Carnitine is also contained in Doctor’s Optimum Supreme Fat Burner and has unique brain-supportive properties.

Carnitine supplementation may be needed especially for vegetarian diets, or when dark meats are consumed in small amounts, because neither preformed carnitine nor its precursor amino acids are ingested in adequate amounts to support optimal health.

What makes Doctor’s Optimum Weight Loss Support better than the rest?

Our product is a comprehensive endocrine and metabolic balancing formula designed to promote optimal body composition by modulating three hormones: insulin, leptin, and cortisol. It is designed to balance blood sugar, optimize the lipoprotein lipase enzyme, and limit cravings. The ingredients were chosen because most people have trouble losing body fat while maintaining (or increasing) lean body mass and basal metabolic rate (BMR).

This formula is designed to control appetite, the stress response of cortisol, and its effects on blood sugar, foraging, moods, and energy. For cortisol balancing, Doctor’s Optimum Appetite and Stress Regulator, contains the non-stimulating American ginseng combined with the herbs banaba and green tea to enhance glucose control and insulin. The addition of minerals chromium, vandadium and zinc, with herbals Coleus forskohii, Garcinia cambogia, and the polyphenol ECGg from green tea promote lean body mass through ergogenic activity and stimulate metabolism to allow greater fat burning.

Recommended daily use taken on an empty stomach is 1-2 packets, which contain:

  • Doctor’s Optimum Supreme Fat Burner – 2 capsules per day
  • Doctor’s Optimum Appetite and Stress regulator – 2 capsules per day
